FALMOUTH: General Finances – These 1:1 scheduled 45 minute sessions are available by appointment, including follow-up sessions as needed. Topics are tailored to individual needs and may include the following: Managing Money (budgeting, balancing a checkbook, savings planning); Managing Debt (eliminating debt, checking credit report, rebuilding credit, fraud, debt consolidation, general info on mortgages); and Savings Planning (emergency funds, retirement, estate, investments, college funds). Volunteer Specific Topic Areas may include: tax information, small business finances, mortgage specifics, refinancing, foreclosure, bankruptcy, retirement & estate planning; 529 educational plans, reverse mortgages, estate planning, special needs planning & trusts.
