Attorney Muska Yousuf

This workshop will be facilitated by WE CAN Volunteer Attorney Muska Yousuf, who opened her own law firm as an affordable alternative to the traditional high-cost experience that most people face when going through the Family Court. Instead of requiring a large retainer and then charging her clients hourly, she uses an innovative flat-fee model based on the specific legal services that each client needs. This approach has lead to many people gaining access to high quality legal services where they normally would have to represent themselves. Attorney Muska Yousuf was recognized as a Rising Star in the field of Family from the SuperLawyers organization. The Rising Star designation is only awarded to 2.5% of the attorneys in Massachusetts. She specializes in complex custody cases, division of marital assets and debts, alimony, and child support. Attorney Muska Yousuf also does a significant amount of work in the arena of domestic violence and represents survivors in restraining order/harassment prevention order cases. She is very active in the local community. She is on the board of Amplify POC and B Free Coaching. She is the founder of the Access to Justice subcommittee of the Barnstable Bar Association and an active member of the Diversity, Inclusion and Wellness subcommittee of the Barnstable Bar Association.
