Over several years, Kara Kennedy Duff and Tracy Johnson have worked with WE CAN’s dedicated volunteers, offering valuable and impactful contributions to ensure that the women who reached out to WE CAN were able to achieve the lasting, positive change they sought. We are so grateful for their individual and team contributions. While no longer part of WE CAN’s staff due to the economic impact of COVID-19 and a reorganization, they will remain, for us, part of the larger WE CAN community.
A Special Acknowledgement to our Former Colleagues

Kara Kennedy Duff
Kara managed WE CAN’s Legal program and joined the WE CAN staff in 2009. Kara served as an ambassador to the legal community, established strong and lasting relationships with our volunteers, and embodied WE CAN’s mission as a strong advocate for the women we serve. She led her work at WE CAN with heart, empathy, and commitment. We are grateful for her years of dedicated service to the organization.

Tracy Johnson
Tracy led WE CAN’s PathMakers program for five years and coordinated our Divorce Support Groups. Tracy accomplished extensive outreach on behalf of WE CAN in the faith-based community and organizations representing women across the region and state. We are grateful for the vital role Tracy has played in supporting hundreds of women who have undertaken difficult but rewarding journeys. Tracy now serves as the Minister of the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House of Chatham.
