WE CAN, the organization dedicated to empowering Cape Cod women to achieve lasting positive change for themselves and their families, has named Siobhan Clune Development Director. The announcement was made this week by Executive Director, Dianne Gauthier who commented, “Siobhan’s experience coupled with her commitment to the Cape Cod community are a true asset to WE CAN. We’re excited to see where Siobhan will take WE CAN’s fundraising efforts in the future. “
The Development Director is the lead staff member on all development activities for WE CAN. In reflecting on her promotion Siobhan said, “I’m thrilled to take on this new role at WE CAN as the Development Director and excited for the new challenges and tasks as WE CAN continues to grow and support women in transition on Cape Cod.”
Siobhan has been with WE CAN since 2014 in various roles including Development Manager. Prior to coming to WE CAN, Siobhan was Associate Director of Advancement at Shady Hill School in Cambridge, MA and Director of Annual Giving at the Park School in Brookline as well as several other administration positions in private education.
Siobhan has her BS in Communications from University of Massachusetts Amherst and her master’s degree in educational leadership from Wheelock College. She moved to the Cape in 2014 and opened “Changing Tides Consignment Boutique” a consignment shop in Chatham with a friend and co-owner. She continues to stay involved with her business in addition to her work with WE CAN.
Her promotion at WE CAN begins immediately and was unanimously supported by WE CAN’s board of directors.
