Join us for the annual Cape Cod International Women’s Day Breakfast as we celebrate women advancing equity and sustainable change. We are honored to host keynote speaker Hon. Shannon Frison, Esq.—a USMC veteran, trial lawyer, and author—who will share her powerful perspective on resilience, justice, and leadership.

Whether you are a community leader, an advocate, or someone looking to be inspired by the changemakers of Cape Cod, this breakfast offers a space to engage in meaningful dialogue and foster lasting professional and personal connections.

Join us for an important community conversation about domestic violence: resources, legislation, support, and an anonymous Q&A in a safe, private setting.

This free webinar is presented by League of Women Voters of the Cape Cod Area, WE CAN, and Mass Family Advocacy Coalition. Together, these organizations are bringing expert voices and survivor-centered insight to help individuals better understand domestic violence and the supports available in our community.
​
Facilitator: Alex Mariah — Former national education speaker, writer, educator, and domestic abuse survivor dedicated to inspiring and assisting women around the world.​

Panelists:

Lysetta Hurge‑Putnam — Executive Director of Independence House since 1999, advocating for families experiencing domestic abuse and helping up to 10,000 Cape Cod residents each year.

Annie Catalano — Civilian Victim Advocate at the Yarmouth Police Department, assisting victims of violence with safety planning and connections to community support services.

Margie Palladino — Executive Director of the Mass Family Advocacy Coalition, working to improve the Massachusetts family law system on behalf of women and children through advocacy, collaboration, and education.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about available resources, current legislation, and practical support options, as well as ask questions anonymously in a confidential environment.
