In partnership with Amplify POC Cape Cod and supported by the Cape and Islands United Way, we are hosting a three-part Financial Wellness workshop series. Led by Jim Curran, Director of Financial Know-How at Cape Cod 5, this series offers simple, practical steps to improve budgeting and personal finance habits. Gain tools, tips, and resources for building a healthier relationship with your money and start 2025 with peace of mind.

We will be offering another Power Within Her group starting February 24th, This eight- week workshop series with certified coach Patricia Anglin will help you develop a personal action plan to achieve your goals. In a safe and confidential environment, you will explore your past, reflect on your present, and define your future. Patricia and other workshop participants will be by your side as you navigate your journey toward self-awareness and personal growth. Monday Nights starting February 24th - April 14th, 4:00 - 6:00pm in Hyannis.

Financial Matters Relating to Divorce

Empowering women to understand their financial status and learn how to use the tools and information to become financially independent. The workshop will go over credit scores and how bankruptcy and divorces affects your financial position when it comes to credit and what you can do to help to increase credit score as well as learn how to budget for housing.

Imigraçao Baseada na Lei de Família

This workshop will cover the divorce process, will provide an overview of key legal terms, as well as information on child custody, and other family legal matters. In addition it will cover the process of getting permanent residence through a family relationship. Petitioning the government for close family to immigrate, gain permanent residency, work etc. is a stressful process with many questions. How long will it take to bring my family members to the U.S.? Is it better to file for an adjustment of status or follow a consular process in my native country? What do I do if my family member is facing deportation? How do we apply for permanent residency? This workshop will allow you to get your questions answered in Portuguese.
