Staff Spotlight: Celebrating Our Incredible Team!

Updated: Nov 1

At WE CAN, we are proud of the dedicated individuals who contribute to our mission of empowering women and families in our community. Today, we shine the spotlight on two remarkable staff members, Priscilla Bellerose and Marina Mendoza-Burris, as they approach anniversaries with us. Their hard work and passion have made a lasting impact on our organization and the lives we serve.

Congratulations Priscilla Bellerose

Participant Engagement Coordinator

Priscilla Bellerose has been a vital part of the WE CAN team for 1 year, bringing her expertise as a licensed clinical social worker to her role as Participant Engagement Coordinator. With a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Boston College, Priscilla has dedicated her career to supporting families and children in various settings, including private non-profit organizations and public schools.

Priscilla’s passion for building strong communities and helping people thrive shines through in her work. She takes pride in creating connections with participants, ensuring they have access to the resources they need. Her commitment to fostering a supportive environment for families is evident in every interaction.

When she’s not working, Priscilla enjoys spending time outdoors and is a certified forest therapy guide. Her love for nature takes her to the beautiful landscapes of New Hampshire, where she finds inspiration and tranquility. Priscilla has lived in Brewster for over 30 years, and her dedication to the community reflects her deep roots in the area.

Thank you, Priscilla, for your invaluable contributions to WE CAN and the families we serve. We appreciate your dedication and passion!

Celebrating Marina Mendoza-Burris

Recently promoted to the position of Program Manager, Marina oversees all one-to-one services at WE CAN, including our legal, financial, work support, and business support programs. Her dedication to helping women achieve their goals and overcome challenges is truly inspiring.

Marina lives in Brewster with her husband, three children, and their dog, Lolly. In her spare time, she can be found cheering on her kids at basketball, baseball, gymnastics, and exploring the many family-friendly activities Cape Cod has to offer.

Thank you, Marina, for your unwavering commitment and exceptional leadership at WE CAN. Your efforts make a profound difference in our community!
