Five Years Strong: Congratulations, Beth Bowman

This month, we are celebrating Beth Bowman’s 5-year anniversary as Assistant Director at WE CAN!

Beth joined WE CAN in 2020 as our Assistant Director, bringing with her more than two decades of experience as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Before moving to Cape Cod in 2015, Beth served in leadership roles in New Jersey –including as Assistant Commissioner for Performance Management and Accountability at the NJ Department of Children and Families. Here on the Cape, she began her nonprofit journey at the Cape and Islands United Way before joining WE CAN to oversee programs and services.

Throughout her career, Beth has worked with women facing a variety of challenges: from substance use and child welfare involvement to navigating major life transitions. Her approach is always rooted in empathy, respect, and a strengths-based, nonjudgmental perspective. Over the last five years at WE CAN, Beth’s compassion and leadership have touched countless lives, and her steady guidance continues to make our community stronger.
