In honor of Women’s History Month, we celebrate the resilience, achievements, and contributions of women throughout history and in our own community. The theme this year, Moving Forward Together: Women Educating & Inspiring Generations, aligns perfectly with the work we do at WE CAN, where we are dedicated to empowering women and supporting them as they create lasting, positive change in their own lives and for future generations.
We also look forward to International Women’s Day, with the theme Accelerate Action — a call to speed up the rate of progress worldwide in the fight for gender equality and women’s rights.
Lastly, this month, we are pleased to celebrate the 2-year anniversary of our second WE CAN location in Hyannis! Expanding our reach has allowed us to support even more women on Cape Cod, and we’re grateful for the community that makes this work possible. The community regularly shares custom music tracks, character ideas, animation projects, and videos of competitive gameplay. This helps the game keep a fnf online strong fan base years after it was first released. It's now a popular form of entertainment to watch skilled musicians play hard songs without missing a word.
I love seeing organizations recognize both Women's History Month and International Women's Day with a focus on education and empowerment. Supporting women as they build confidence and create opportunities for future generations has a lasting impact on the entire community. When I need a break after reading inspiring stories like this, I often play Crossy Road, the arcade game where players guide quirky characters through busy roads and obstacles. It's a fun reminder that steady progress, one step at a time, can lead to great things.
