Meet our Summer Interns

Please join us in welcoming our summer interns to the WE CAN community! These emerging leaders bring fresh perspectives, enthusiasm, and a passion for community service. Over the summer months, they will be supporting our programs, events, and outreach efforts while gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit work.

Introducing Kerry

Kerry began volunteering with WE CAN last summer and has since stepped into an internship role supporting the participant engagement and office management teams. In the fall, she will begin a Master’s program in International Development at the London School of Economics, where she plans to focus on women’s issues in conflict zones. When she’s not at WE CAN or working at Bleu Restaurant, Kerry enjoys spending time at the beach, hiking, or watching scary movies.

Introducing Rebecca

Rebecca is a rising junior at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, majoring in Public Policy with a minor in Political Science. A Cape Cod native, she grew up in Dennis and graduated from Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School. This summer, she joined WE CAN inspired by her mom and a family friend. Rebecca is passionate about WE CAN’s mission of empowering women on Cape Cod and is thrilled to support the team and learn from their important work. In her free time, she loves walking her dog Maggie on the Bayside beaches, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Introducing Hannah

Hannah is currently pursuing her MBA with a concentration in Social Impact at Boston University. This summer, she is interning with WE CAN, supporting the participant engagement and program teams while leading an advocacy research project focused on strengthening regional collaboration. Before graduate school, she worked in fundraising at Boston University. Outside of work and school, Hannah enjoys relaxing at the beach, listening to podcasts, and getting lost in a good book.
