Staff Spotlight: Honoring Kim & Cara’s WE CAN Anniversaries!

At WE CAN, we’re proud to celebrate the dedicated individuals who bring our mission to life – empowering women and families across the Cape. This June, we honor two incredible team members whose compassion, expertise, and unwavering commitment help power our mission: please join us in congratulating Kimberly Hamblin on her 4-year anniversary and Cara Eldredge on her 2-year anniversary with WE CAN!

Congratulations Kimberly Hamblin

Program Manager for Workshops and Groups

Kimberly grew up on Cape Cod and now resides in West Barnstable. Her journey has taken her across the country and back again — from working in retail management in California while earning her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at California State University, Fullerton, to returning to the Cape to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at Boston University.

During her education, Kim gained valuable experience working in both school settings and mental health agencies. Today, she brings her warmth, empathy, and organizational talents to her role at WE CAN, where she manages our Workshops and Groups. Her care and commitment help create the welcoming, empowering spaces that define our programs.

Congratulations Cara Eldredge

Program Coordinator, Business Support and PathMakers

Cara joined WE CAN with a strong background in human services and small business – a combination that makes her uniquely qualified to support women entrepreneurs in our community. With a master’s degree in Forensic Psychology, she worked with vulnerable populations through the Barnstable County District Attorney's Office.

Before that, she ran her own successful business, Cara’s Canine Club, offering pet services across Cape Cod. After completing her graduate degree, she closed her business in 2022 to pursue full-time work in her field – and eventually found her way to WE CAN.

As Program Coordinator for Business Support and PathMakers, Cara leads programs like GROW, OWN IT!, and one-on-one Small Business Support appointments. She also builds strong connections with both participants and volunteers, and her outreach efforts help expand access and diversity within our programming.
